Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!
For all the hotties out there, Megan Thee Stallion is known for a lot of things: making catchy music, and generally being a talented multi-hyphenate. Over the last two years or so, we’ve literally watch her workout routines on her Instagram and TikTok which has led her to even partnering with Nike on her own workout series through their Nike Training Club app.
If you’re looking for a cute hotel stay in Greenwich Village, the Walker Hotel is great! I had the opportunity to stay here during the holidays and it was perfect!
CLEAR Plus is a paid airport membership. With this, you can move faster through airport security nationwide in their designated CLEAR Plus lanes at TSA checkpoints. I was introduced to this by one of the CLEAR ambassadors due to me running behind for one of my flights and seeing how long the TSA Precheck line was as well. I signed up for a free trial and decided to move forward with my membership.
I know sometimes we may want to hop on a plan and go to NOLA just to eat, but in case y’all can’t then I am here to tell you to check out 1803 and File Gumbo Bar in NYC. Both places are located in Tribeca and serve NOLA styled food.
Brickell is the city's financial center, where glittering business towers and luxury condos tower over Biscayne Bay. Rooftop bars and surf 'n' turf grills cater to the banking and business crowd, while the art galleries and fashionable boutiques in the Brickell City Centre attract chic locals. The Brickell Avenue Bridge spans the Miami River and has views of the waterfront Miami Circle park and archaeological.
In honor of this month, the Brooklyn Museum announced their new exhibit. It’s called the Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys and it’s opened until July 7, 2024. What better way to celebrate Black History Month and attend First Saturdays, but also get tickets for this new exhibition.
The key is to alternate between extreme temperatures, hot and cold. Rotate between their 3 pools, saunas and steam room at your own pace.
I had the opportunity to go to ‘Tatiana’ by Kwame Onwuachi in Lincoln Center. For those who don’t know, getting a reservation to this restaurant is very difficult. It’s like one of the most talked about restaurants in NYC and it’s Black-owned.
ENVSN Festival is a small, but intimate event that takes place in Industry City, Brooklyn every August. It’s a 2-day festival that curates a safe space for all types of women. All ages are welcomed and it’s a great way to connect with other creatives. It’s always the same the weekend as Spike Lee’s Block Party and Afropunk Festival. I hadn’t gone to ENVSN since before the pandemic. As a reminder, you can read more here about my 2019 experience and what it is all about.
