The Hudson NY
Once upon time on Dykman Street, there was a waterfront restaurant called “La Marina.” This was my favorite summer venue in Manhattan. I’ve spent a lot of weekends there enjoying the vibes. The music, the food, the location, just everything was perfect. Also, we’ve celebrated several occasions here because the venue was simply amazing.
Unfortunately, La Marina has closed due to several allegations. Not sure if this is true, but this is what I have read. A petition was posted on social media to keep the venue open under new management as well. We will see what happens. Currently, it has been renamed to “The Hudson NY.”
Due to COVID-19, restaurants have outdoor dining ONLY. The Hudson NY has been used as an outdoor dining space. The business, La Marina is officially closed, but not the venue. I came across The Hudson NY Instagram page and thought it would be a good idea to go for Labor Day weekend. I hadn’t ate out since March, which sounds crazy to me. I am always at someone’s brunch. lol
You don’t need reservations for this location. You must wear your mask and you pay for your meal when you scan the app on your phone. You can also do take out. I chose the Shrimp Head On 1 lb. with lemon garlic butter sauce underneath the Boil and Seafood category.
I highly recommend this location if you’re looking to enjoy the scenery before the summer ends! Click here to check out their website.
Enjoy and happy outdoor dining! 🍴
