Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!
CLEAR Plus is a paid airport membership. With this, you can move faster through airport security nationwide in their designated CLEAR Plus lanes at TSA checkpoints. I was introduced to this by one of the CLEAR ambassadors due to me running behind for one of my flights and seeing how long the TSA Precheck line was as well. I signed up for a free trial and decided to move forward with my membership.
Brickell is the city's financial center, where glittering business towers and luxury condos tower over Biscayne Bay. Rooftop bars and surf 'n' turf grills cater to the banking and business crowd, while the art galleries and fashionable boutiques in the Brickell City Centre attract chic locals. The Brickell Avenue Bridge spans the Miami River and has views of the waterfront Miami Circle park and archaeological.
The key is to alternate between extreme temperatures, hot and cold. Rotate between their 3 pools, saunas and steam room at your own pace.
I had the opportunity to go to ‘Tatiana’ by Kwame Onwuachi in Lincoln Center. For those who don’t know, getting a reservation to this restaurant is very difficult. It’s like one of the most talked about restaurants in NYC and it’s Black-owned.
ENVSN Festival is a small, but intimate event that takes place in Industry City, Brooklyn every August. It’s a 2-day festival that curates a safe space for all types of women. All ages are welcomed and it’s a great way to connect with other creatives. It’s always the same the weekend as Spike Lee’s Block Party and Afropunk Festival. I hadn’t gone to ENVSN since before the pandemic. As a reminder, you can read more here about my 2019 experience and what it is all about.
Last October, I had the opportunity to attend CultureCon at Brooklyn Navy Yard. I haven’t attended since 2019 and this was due to the pandemic. I knew attending this one, the vibes would be immaculate. Click here to read about my experience in 2019.
Y’all, I have great news! After a year and half of trying to get my Antiguan passport, it has finally arrived! It’s official! I am a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda now!
