WORLD SPA in Brooklyn

WORLD SPA in Brooklyn

Another year, another spa!

Since I didn’t go on a world tour for the New Year, it was only right to bring it in by catching up on sleep and relaxing for once. I found a new spa to go to in Brooklyn called WORLD SPA. It’s like ten minutes away from Coney Island just to give you an idea on location.

This spa just opened up last month and it took them five years to build it. It was impressive with it’s architecture. Turkish and Morrocan styled artistry was heavily influenced when creating this space. I felt like I was in another world when I was there, honestly. Now, I have learned my lesson with true spa etiquette. It’s a lot cheaper to go earlier in the week and go earlier in the morning.

Admission

We went on a Tuesday morning, check in time was 11am-12pm. For the daily admission, $88. Once you scan your wristband, then your time starts. An admission pass includes a 4-hour access to the facility. This doesn’t include a massage. Each additional hour will be charged at $25.

All WORLD SPA Treatments lasting 50 min. or longer booked online include a 2-hour complimentary access to the facility. I didn’t want to do a massage this time since I had just did one at Sojo Spa last month. We also saw large groups and they said you can rent out rooms and cabanas for your party. I think that’s a great idea for birthdays and other special occasions.

Dining

You definitely can’t leave your spa day without fine dining. Drinks and food galore. WORLD SPA has two locations, WORLD SPA Lounge and REN Restaurant. It’s best to make reservations for both if you can, but we did a walk-in for the WORLD SPA Lounge. The food was so good, but a little pricey as spas are usually. I got the Miso King Salmon, white sangria, San Sebastian Cheesecake and Summer Strawberries. Please DO NOT get the strawberries on the dessert menu. I still can’t believe I paid $12 for strawberries on ice. LOL sigh

The REN Restaurant seemed a bit more like fine dining. I will have to check this out next time I go.
