Del Vino Vineyards - Northport

The last days of summer were spent at the Del Vino Vineyard in Northport. Northport is located on the north shore of Long Island. Going to any vineyard in Long Island is always a great time. If you’re not trying to go all the way out east to Riverhead, then Del Vino would be perfect.
The menu at Del Vino has so much to choose from. This venue is great for group outings and special occasions. It is best to book in advance since the venue is half outdoor and indoor. We sat outdoor since we had perfect weather that day and walked to the vineyard to take pictures. Each reservation is limited to 2.5 hours, but we stayed all day. They won’t say anything as long as you order more food and wine. Some of the food we ordered were Shrimp Scampi Pizza, Signature Artisan Meat & Cheese Board, Shrimp Alla Gallipoli, Nutella Crepes and meatballs. For drinks, we ordered pitchers of mimosas and flights of red and white wines.
For transportation, you’re best bet is to drive, but don’t drink and drive. There are no buses in that area. If you bring children, you have to make sure you watch them. The dress code for Del Vino Vineyards is smart casual and appropriate jeans are acceptable. No outside food & drink.
