The Weekender Edition: Headed to the Hamptons

The Weekender Edition: Headed to the Hamptons

It’s so crazy that I was born and raised in Long Island, NY and I had never been to the Hamptons. I never had a reason to go, but always wondered what it would be like to venture out east. You always hear about those fancy all white yacht parties that Diddy host and other celebrities living their best life.  For me, I was trying to live my best life turning 30 as well. The summer time is all about experiencing new adventures. Young black professionals had the opportunity to close out summer 2017 with The Weekendertrips to the Hamptons.

You’re probably wondering who and what they are.

The Weekendertrips provides a unique customer tailored travel experience for young professionals looking to meet new people, or travel with a group of friends to picturesque and iconic destinations within the United States.

Fancy, right?

This group was started by my friend, Raheem Manning. For the last two years, he has been able to provide getaways that young professionals may not travel to for a weekend of fun, inspiration, and fellowship.

Raheem giving the rundown for the weekend

Having almost 40 people in one house was like our rendition of MTV’s Real World.  It was a weekend of hanging out at the pool, catching up with college friends,  a yacht party in Montauk, and good food & drinks with positive vibes. You might have even met your future

on this trip.

I had a great time packing up the car with my best friends and driving out east to create memories for years to come! It was a change in pace since I always travel to Manhattan to go out.

If you’re looking for a new adventure, then Raheem is the person you should contact. Check out his website,
