ENVSN Festival 2023

Don’t mind me as we’re still recapping all the dope things I did in 2023. I am still pushing out content, so forgive me in advance. I attended ENVSN Festival last August and I need to give a special shout out to my PR friend, Jovana for giving me a ticket.

ENVSN Festival is a small, but intimate event that takes place in Industry City, Brooklyn every August. It’s a 2-day festival that curates a safe space for all types of women. All ages are welcomed and it’s a great way to connect with other creatives. It’s always the same the weekend as Spike Lee’s Block Party and Afropunk Festival. I hadn’t gone to ENVSN since before the pandemic. As a reminder, you can read more here about my 2019 experience and what it is all about.

I thoroughly enjoyed panels that included fashion, wellness, financial literacy and rapper, Lola Brooke sitting sat down with TT Torez from Hot 97 to discuss being a girl from Brooklyn to getting her songs played on the radio.

The highlight for me was getting free merchandise from Adidas. They hosted a yoga session and we got free yoga mats, clothing, and bags. It was very cool. This also introduced me wanting to do more yoga in my day to day since we’re always plugged into our phones and laptops.
