CultureCon 2023

Last October, I had the opportunity to attend CultureCon at Brooklyn Navy Yard. I haven’t attended since 2019 and this was due to the pandemic. I knew attending this one, the vibes would be immaculate. Click here to read about my experience in 2019.

CultureCon has a week long of events in NYC that consist of panels, parties, career fairs and so much more. The events during the week is lead up for the actual conference that is held on Saturday and Sunday. You can buy a day pass, weekend pass, get your job to pay for it and/or apply for a media pass. You can also become a vendor to sell your products and volunteer to work the conference. It really depends on what your motive is. It is jam-packed with inspirational key-notes, skill-building workshops and the opportunity to connect with the community you’ve been looking for.

CultureCon is a safe space for creatives that come together to give a fashion show, a pep talk and you’re bound to leave there with something good. I always grab the goodie bags as well. The panels included conversations on how to ask for a promotion, navigating new environments, cultivating relationships and much more. We always like call it the cultural homecoming because that it is! I always love a good panel and networking. Some of my friends films were even featured in the promos as well.
